Physical Education

Our Physical Education program caters for all students K-6.

Emphasis is placed on enjoyment, participation and the development of skills and sportsmanship. Full participation is essential as the lessons are an integral part of the scheduled program.

Appropriate clothing (sports uniform) is required in order to allow free movement and evaporation of perspiration with warm clothing able to be pulled on after the exercise.

Our school has a strong commitment to working with local community sporting groups and welcome visitors and community development officers into the school to run sporting programs.

Allendale is involved in:

  • Interm Swimming Program at the Geraldton Aquarena in Term 1. It is held for two weeks and costs approximately $40 including pool entry and bus fare per student. Students are required to bring bathers, towel, goggles and a plastic bag for all swimming lessons. All of the items must be clearly labeled with the child’s name. Pre-Primary students attend swimming lessons in Term 4 each year.

In Term 1 2017 we were very lucky have the West Coast Eagles visit us in the lead up to their Geraldton based game against the Fremantle Dockers.

In Term 2 2017 we hosted the inaugural Good Times Together football match between Rangeway Primary School and Allendale Primary School. Rangeway Primary School played hard and won the 2017 cup.
