Parents / Community

The majority of Allendale Primary School students come from the surrounding Wonthella area with second generation students continuing the family's Allendale School tradition. Families are from a wide cross section of socio economic backgrounds, predominantly from homes where education is valued and supported.

Parents are welcome to attend the fortnightly assemblies and assist in classrooms and many take the opportunity to support their children.

Parent Helpers

Parent helpers are asked to wear an identifying badge whilst on school grounds provided by the office.

Parents with particular skills or who are interested in helping and have time available are asked to contact the Principal or any staff member who will be pleased to discuss this matter with them.

The school has been fortunate to have a number of parent helpers who volunteer their services to particular class teachers or to the school generally in a number of subject and clerical areas.

All visitors are required to sign in at the front office.

Facebook

In 2016 we introduced our school Facebook page:

Allendale Primary School An Independent Public School

This page is updated regularly with activities happening around the school, current news and upcoming events. It is a fabulous showcase of what the students are up to from one day to the next! Please like our page!
